One Heart would like to honor the traditional Shawnee owners of the land on which our center sits, the Shawandasse Tula territory.  Shawnee (pronounced shaw-NEE) translates to “southerner” referring to their original location in the Ohio Valley.  They are the original people of southern Ohio, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania.
